Apple chips is excellent, tasty and healthy snacks. When you are bored of the potato chips and you want to eat something healthy, delicious and in large portions, here’s how to make quick, easy and interesting apple chips.
- 4 firm apples (preferably green apples)
- Two tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup cold water
- Preheat oven to 80 degrees Celsius. In a small bowl place the water and lemon juice. Wash, peel and cut apples into thin slices. As you cut the slices put them in water with lemon juice to avoid blacker. Place baking paper in a pan and spread the apples.
- From the top, spray them with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Bake two hours until the apples blow up and get a golden color.
- If, after two hours the apples are still soft, bake another hour and a half. Therefore, it is best to cut the apples as thinner as possible , to bake nice and be crunchy. But if you want extra crispy apple chips, not the shell peeled apple.
