We’ve seen all sort of celebrities offer their endorsements for Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump, including Kid Rock, Mike Tyson and Hulk Hogan. But there’s a new endorsement that may come as a surprise to many.
Actress Kirstie Alley saidshe’s also supporting the controversial Republican front runner. Alley’s support comes just as Trump’s campaign has been hit with a barrage of questions on if he’s hostile to women.
“HELLO BOYS! this is my formal endorsement of @realDonaldTrump & I’m a woman! (last I checked),” Alley tweeted Friday evening.
The former “Cheers” star had previously voiced support for Trump, saying she thought he was “waking this country up.”
Alley’s endorsement comes just days after former New York Mayor Rudy Giulianisaid he was backing Trump as well. Giuliani said he expects Trump will get more than 50 percent of the statewide vote and pick up the lion’s share of New York’s 95 delegates.
